Case Studies
The system uses copper-alloy components to provide optimal anti-fouling characteristics and long-term durability. Kits include sensor housings and guards, probe wipers, and screens fabricated from copper alloys - as well as copper tape for the probe bodies and a special nanopolymer spray.
Together, these components add up to a system that can offer major savings for your water quality monitoring programme by extending deployment intervals by three times or more - thus significantly reducing trips to the field and the time spent on system maintenance. Your water quality sensors stay cleaner, providing you with more accurate data collection over a longer period of time.
Kits include any of the following items:
- Copper-alloy optical probe housings, rated to 200m deep depth (Chlorophyll; Blue-Green Algae; Turbidity; ROX Optical Dissolved Oxygen
- Copper-mesh screens for Conductivity / Temperature and pH probes
- C-Spray Protective Probe Solution
- Copper-Alloy sonde guards (600OMS; 6600; 6820/6920)
- Wiper assemblies with longer wiper block and pad (optical; 6600EDS; 6600V2-4)
- Copper-alloy port plugs (Optical; pH and ISE)
- Roll of copper tape
- Copper-alloy replacement membrane for 6150 ROX optical dissolved oxygen sensor
The anti-fouling kits can replace ablative paints and yeild better results.
